    Cost:
    R9 350 per person (start-up toolkit excluded) OR 
    R12 850 per person (start-up toolkit included).

    Included:
    • Refer to our online store for all items included in the start-up toolkit to the value of R3 500.
    • Leather and all else you need to manufacture at least a belt sample and one of a Laptop Bag, Handbag, Tote Bag or Back-Pack.
    • Patterns in addition to those of the items you manufactured.
    • Daily Refreshments & treat with mid-morning coffee.

     Fundamentals:

    Introduction to types of leather, reading leather & leather care.
    The practical use and maintenance of hand tools.
    Hand-stitching techniques.
    Coloring of vegetable tanned leather.
    Basic product & pattern design, layout and cutting.
    Manufacturing from start to finish, workflow, lining, fitment of zips, hardware, straps, handles, and slings.
    Supplier information and notes on product costing.
